The actor-producer, Anushka Sharma is on cloud nine after the grand success of her latest project, “PataalLok”. The series was released on Amazon Prime and is critically acclaimed and loved by the audience. The ensemble of the series has some fine actors of the industry including JaideepAhlawat, NeerajKabi, Abhishek Banerjee and the makers of the show are AvinashArun and Prosit Roy.

It was a time of double celebrations for the producer, Anushka Sharma as both critics and audience loved the series. She hosted a digital bash over a video conference with the PataalLok team.

She wrote on her official Twitter handle, “What ‘Success party’s’ look like in these times. PAATAL LOK streaming NOW on @primevideoin !! Had a blast with this incredible team of ours” and posted the Digital Bash image with her team.

The series revolves around an inspector Hathi Ram (JaideepAhlawat) who lands a case of his lifetime when he arrests four for murdering a journalist (NeerajKabi). AnuragKashyap appreciates the series stating, “seen to come out of this country in the longest time, maybe forever.”

The critically acclaimed series was reviewed by Shubhra Gupta, the critic of the Indian Express, “A bunch of characters’ jostle for our attention, and as the ambitious journalist who is happy to swing whichever way the wind blows, NeerajKabi is efficient. His anxiety-ridden wife (Mukherjee) starts off shaky, but is given more to do as it goes along. There’s an idealistic reporter (Dutt, leaving an impact) in the mix, looking for a moral centre in the murk, too. But the man of the series is, undoubtedly, JaideepAhlawat. His Hathi Ram Chaudhary is a man of many parts: exasperated and tender with his wife (Panag, ably supportive), an unsure father with a rebellious teenage son, and desperate to get that one case that will make him come up tops. The craggy faced-Ahlawat aces it, each line of his face denoting a life lived, making even the more unbelievable parts of this thing believable.,”

Even ViratKohli, ace cricketer and husband of Anushka Sharma could not resist appreciating the series and posted, “Having watched the whole season of PAATAL LOK a while ago, I knew it’s a masterpiece of storytelling, screenplay and tremendous acting. Now having seen how people loved it too, just confirmed how I saw the show Proud of my love @anushkasharma for producing such a gripping series and believing in her team along with our bhaiji @kans26 . Well done brother.
