Annabelle, the real doll escaped her cage at The Warren's Occult Museum

Annabelle is the name that makes even the strongest hearts tremble in fear. The die-hard fans of the Annabell series know that the innocent-looking doll is not so innocent and possessed by the troubled spirit of a young girl called Annabelle Higgins.

But, the rumours of the doll escaping her cage in the Warren’s Occult Museum created a buzz on the internet and made the fans tremble. There were two tweets which created restlessness. One of the tweets was from an anonymous account named Zach and said, "This is Annabelle. She's cursed and she escaped her cage, so everyone who sees this picture of her needs to convey a simple apology to her when you see the picture. If you ignore, there may be something bad that will happen to you or bad luck for many years."

The first tweet was by an account Riley Jace and it was a clip of a 9-second Wikipedia edited page that said, “The Annabelle doll escaped on August 14, 2020, at 3 am in The Warren's Occult Museum in Connecticut, USA." The tweets created anxiety amongst the netizens and they started sharing their concerns.

However, soon the matter was taken care of by investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren son-in-law Tony Spera. He uploaded a video on his YouTube channel and cleared the air stating the doll is very much caged and in possession of the museum where it belongs.

In the video, Tony said, "I am in here, in the museum because of the rumours that Annabelle has escaped. I am here to tell you something. I don't know if you're gonna want to hear this or not, but Annabelle did not escape. Annabelle's alive. Well, I shouldn't say alive. Annabelle's here, in all her infamous glory. She never left the museum. Remember, I have high-tech security here. If she had left the museum, I'd instantly know if something happened or somebody broke in. I have good alarm systems here and the police are very good to respond. They respond within a couple of minutes, maybe, if that." While he was saying all this, he even showed the doll caged in the live footage.

He further added,” Annabelle's here. She didn't go anywhere. She didn't take a trip. She didn't fly first class and she didn't go out to visit her boyfriend. So you know, here she is. Let's put the rumours to rest, guys. I appreciate all the concern. I'd be concerned if Annabelle really did leave because she's nothing to play with.”

Those who aren’t aware Annabelle is the infamous doll based on which an American horror story was made and produced by Peter Safran and James Wan.
