Confirmed! Bill Gates will purchase TikTok and US government involved in the deal

Tik Tok has been a part of the discussion from the time it has been banned. Due to the INDIA-CHINA controversy, there has been major banning of apps, games, and other products as a result of a tiff between the two countries. But now the US President Trump is also in the game to buy the app.

Microsoft posted a blog saying "following a conversation between Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and President Donald J. Trump, Microsoft is prepared to continue discussions to explore a purchase of TikTok in the United States.

Last week Donald Trump had a statement of banning Tik Tok but we have heard that he may ask the Chinese Government to sell the app.

Microsoft stated that “it appreciates the U.S. Government’s and President Trump’s involvement as it continues to develop strong security protections for the country."

Microsoft wrote that "The two companies ByteDance and Microsoft have provided notice of their intent to explore a preliminary proposal that would involve a purchase of the TikTok service in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and would result in Microsoft owning and operating TikTok in these markets.

Microsoft has confirmed that it will take care of the privacy measures and ensure the safety of the people downloading it. Tik Tok did not respond to make any comments on the current scenario.

Also once Microsoft plans to buy Tik Tok it will give tough competition to other apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc.

There will be no further statements by the company in regards to the discussion on purchasing the app, the discussion will conclude by 15th Sept.

Microsoft said, "During this process, Microsoft looks forward to continuing dialogue with the United States Government, including with the President”.
