The Mirzapur series, which came in the year 2018 on Amazon Prime Video, received tremendous response. People had been eagerly waiting for the next season and finally, it seems like the wait is over. Streaming of Mirzapur season 2 may begin soon on Amazon Prime. The series can be launched next month i.e. September. Prime Video has started posting the teaser of Mirzapur season 2 on social media, and fans are going bananas over it.
On Thursday, Amazon released a teaser, which starts with a Google Earth clip and reaches Tripathi’s empire while zooming in. On Friday, Amazon released another teaser, thanking the fans for the support Mirzapur got and showing a glimpse of Guddu (Ali Faizal). This video gave major chills to the fans that concluded by quoting, “Jald milenge,bahut hua intezar.”
Fans of the series are eagerly anticipating the release. They have been demanding for the stream of the series from the makers and Amazon Prime using the hashtag #Ms2w on social media.
According to the information received, ‘Mirzapur 2' was to be streamed earlier this year, but had to be postponed due to the lockdown due to Covid-19. Mirzapur 2 shooting was completed long ago, but post-production work was stopped in lockdown. Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Ali Fazal’s mother had died, due to which he could not finish his dubbing.
Amidst so much expectation from the show, Ali Fazal feels there is pressure on the team to deliver again. In an earlier statement, he shared, "We were always the underdogs and there was always immense love from the audience. But now the show is considerably delayed because of the circumstances posed by the pandemic. Through the lockdown, fans have been after us. We can feel the eyes on us, and I hope the audience is a little generous. Such great content has come out in the last year that I will be very proud of being part of Amazon's legacy."
Now all the actors of the series have started their dubbing. It is being said that the much-awaited web series will be streamed next month.
Fans of the series will be able to see their favourite characters once again. Divyendu Sharma will be seen as Munna. Pankaj Tripathi will play Akhandanand Tripathi. Shweta Tripathi will be playing Golu Gupta. Fans will see a new avatar of Bina Tripathi played by Rashika Dugal in the new season. They can expect the same thrill and violence as season 1.
