Akshay Kumar’s game poster FAU-G Poster is criticized for plagiarism

The government banned 118 Chinese apps from the phone as the security concern of the nation. Akshay Kumar announced on Friday that the multiplayer game named the FAU-G in the favour of PM NarenderModi’sAtmaNirbhar Bharat.

After Akshay Kumar disclosed the multiplayer action game on twitter after that it was identified by the die heart internet users that the poster is similar. A statement was issued by nCore Gaming which is the maker of the game, the statement was regarding the allegations made on them in regards to the poster that seems to be cloned.

Akshay Kumar tweeted “Supporting PM @narendramodi’sAtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game, Fearless And United-Guards FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to @BharatKeVeer Trust #FAUG”

Keeping in mind the teaser poster and the original one the only difference one can see is the Indian flag on the soldier's shoulders. The original poster is a stock image as said by the co-founder of nCore, Vishal Gondal.

Gondal has also stated that “ongoing conversations/rumours on social media that FAU-G was conceptualized by late actor Shri Sushant Singh Rajput". They have tried and given an SSR angle now due to some unknown reason which seems to have a zero link with the game.

Gondal also added covering up the image of the company telling out that these are the rumours which are totally "false and baseless".

It is legal and ethical to buy a stock image and does not violate any copyright laws but considering that the game poster is a little edited might be discomforting for the owners. After the ban of PUB-G with 117 other Chinese apps, nCore has announced FAU-G in a hurry. The bigger picture seems like the game came into notice quite earlier even before the teaser. How can the game come up at such a speed is a question that has popped out?

The ban including Ludo All-Star and HD Camera and other Chinese apps has been the decision of the Indian government for the violation of law by these apps in the context of cyber and national security.
