Deepika Padukone proved to be a typical Indian wife with a sweet question during Star Screen Awards

The Rani Sa of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, is truly a simple, humble and typical wife concerned for her husband. She might be the reigning queen of the industry riding on success globally, but inside she is simply a person with home anyone can relate. The love story of Deepika and Ranveer is not hidden from anyone. The six year long relationship was much hyped by the media from the day they started shooting for Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.

The rumor of their romance made the round with the release of every film and as the years go by came the news of their engagement, break-up, patch-up, and again engagement. But the duo neither confirmed nor denied their relationship. They were natural with each other on and off camera, but at Koffee with Karan, Deepika mentioned that it’s been six years to their relationship. Finally, they tied the knot in Italy in Konkani and Sindhi style on 14th and 15th November 2018.

Ranveer once said in an interview, “Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that, almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry.

This is the woman who would become the mother of my children.”

Recently, Deepika said something that made us aww and feels she is just like any other wife, concerned and in love with her husband.  Deepika came to Star Screen Awards with Meghna Gulzar, the director of her film, Chhapaak, and her first question on arrival was “Mere pati aake gaye”? The gorgeous couple did not attend the event together and thus the question which made the internet fall in love with her again.

At a recent event, when she was asked, how is it living with her now-husband, Ranveer Singh? She said, “It’s beautiful living together. I’m sure cynics will say you’ve just gotten married to him, wait for 15 years or 25 years. We’ll figure it out then. For now, it’s the best feeling in the world. I looked forward to living together because I moved out of home at a young age to start working.

A lot of my friends used to say we can’t wait to get out of our house. I was the opposite. I got out young. I craved for my family. When we were dating, it was about spending time with his family or going to Bangalore to be with my parents. I’d crave that quality time where you wake up in the morning and have someone to talk to while you’re having breakfast. For the last 15 years, I was alone.”

We hope the couple stay in love forever and keep giving is relationship goals.
