Bollywood is reeling with shocks, debates of nepotism and justice of Sushant Singh and amidst this Sadak-2 trailer was launched. Sadak-2 starring Alia Bhat, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Kapoor is a sequel to Sadak which was released in 1991 starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt.
Sadak-2 is the final piece of the movie that also stars Pooja Bhatt. But, the movie trailer has got terrible reviews on YouTube. In only 24 hours of the trailer release, the movie there were 15 million views and out of which 4.5 million people disliked the video and only 2,55,000 people liked the video. It has become the most disliked movie trailer in the Indian Film Industry, and the speculations are doing the rounds the reason behind the bad publicity is due to Sushant’s suicide case.
In the case, many names were involved, including Mahesh Bhatt’s for supporting Rhea Chakarborthy and telling her to break up with him as he could see him spiralling down. Fans of the later actor started campaigns to boycott Bollywood, mafia groups and supporters of nepotism like Karan Johar, Alia, Mahesh Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra.
The furious fans and noted celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande, Kriti Sanon are demanding justice for the late actor. The conspiracy theory suggests that the actor was oppressed and traumatized by the Bollywood mafia and nepotism supporters.
On the other hand, Mahesh Bhatt stated on the trailer release of the movie, “Today as we begin the last leg of our journey. I feel unshackled! I carry no burden, no weight. No reputation to hold on to. No mission to accomplish. Nothing to prove to anyone. If the film works, it belongs to all of you. If it does not, it’s mine,”
The movie will be released via streaming as due to corona pandemic theatrical release will not be possible.
