Shanaya Kapoor, the little princess of Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, is all grown up and ready to enter Bollywood. The gorgeous Shanaya took a different road however and started her journey as an Assistant Director to Sharan in the film GunjanSaxena: The Kargil Gill.

In 2018, Jhanhvi Kapoor debuted in Dhadak and became an overnight star with her stellar performance. Now her next movie, GunjanSaxena: The Kargil Girl is based on a true story of a girl who joined the Indian Air Force and is a Kargil war veteran. The movie is special for the Kapoor clan not only because Janhnvi is playing the lead role, but also because her cousin Shanaya Kapoor starts her journey as the Assistant Director.

Since the announcement, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s Instagram has been flooded with best wishes and congratulatory comments. He even expressed his excitement in an interview with PTI on his daughter’s journey as an Assistant Director. It will be exciting to see how far the gorgeous assistant director goes in the industry and when she starts her journey as an actress and with whom considering the nepotism debate and Boycott Bollywood movement.
