Chandrayan-2 Is InTanct And Moving, Claims An Engineer From Chennai

An engineer from Chennai claims that Chandrayan-2 is moving, it has moved two meters. They have used Nasa images to show the world.

This person named Shanmuga Subramanian who is an engineer based in Chennai has posted several images on his twitter account and says that the images prove Pragyan rover is moving a few meters on lunar eclipse.

He tweeted "Chandrayan2's Pragyan "ROVER" intact on Moons' surface & has rolled out few meters from the skeleton Vikram Lander who payloads got disintegrated due to rough landing".

According to him the images he took were taken by NASA'S Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO).

Before this, he had identified the debris of Vikram using the NASA images.

He has tweeted saying "1. Debris I found was of Langumir probe from Vikram Lander. 2. Debris NASA found might be from other payloads, antenna, retro braking engines, solar panels on the side, etc. 3.Rover has rolled out from lander & has travelled few meters from the surface".

Subramanian also mentioned that it was quite tough to find ou the rover as it is on the South Pole of the moon which is not properly lit.

One of his tweets says "Update: It seems the commands were sent to lander blindly for day & there is a distinct possibility that lander could have received commands and relayed it to the orver..but lander was not able to communicate it back to the earth."

The ISRO was not able to contact Vikram just before 2 mins of landing.

Vikram lander was one of those people who were trying to make India the first country to land on the South Pole of the moon. Predictions are that the South pole of the moon might have water ice.
