Google Lens support via Google Assistant given to Kaios Users

This new feature had been bought to functioning by Google for the Indian users who have a feature phone or any device that is built on the KaiOS system. Through the setting, you can now have the freedom of reading the text in your preferred language. 

KaiOS is a mobile operating system that is the third most popular in India. This has also helped the audience with lower income to get a google assistant on a feature phone. KaiOS has somehow covered the difference between a feature phone and a smartphone.

On there, official blog Googlecame out with this news that users of google assistant on KaiOS devices can now get the benefit of translating the texts in the language users want. 

KaiOS technologies also wrote out a tweet “Here comes the @Google lens for #KaiOS! In just a few clicks you can read the text in your preferred language. Available now in India, and stay tuned for more! 

Google states that translation can be done in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, and Tamil. Therefore, there will be more languages like Gujrati and Kannada that would be added in the coming time. 

With this new feature, you can also click a picture on any real-world text and then get it translated to your preferred language. Following steps will let you know how to use the feature:

* Go to the assistant 

* Press and hold the button in the centre 

* Then press the camera icon

* After that turn the camera at some text

* And now you can finally read the translated language 

* To add on if you will press the right key once in assistant it will lead you to access the languages provided.

Google also stated that “This is another step in our commitment to make the language more accessible to everyone, and we hope this will enable millions of KaiOS users across the country to have a more seamless language experience.”
