Ratan Tata’s statement, “Economy will bounce back after Corona” is a FAKE news

A social media post is going viral on Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram where Emeritus Chairman and Philanthropist, Ratan Tata is saying that, “Economy will bounce back after Corona”. But, the fact is that the post is Fake and Mr. Ratan Tata never said gave such a statement.

The industrialist shared the post on his Twitter account and clarified that he had not given any such statement, “This post has neither been said, nor written by me. I urge you to verify media circulated on WhatsApp and social platforms. If I have something to say, I will say it on my official channels. Hope you are safe and do take care.”

The fake post went viral as many of his followers shared the post including the IPS officer and other eminent people. Mr. Tata clarified about the fake post even on Whatsapp stating that, “Fake news is harmful to us and we must always verify it.”
